Nurturing a grateful and optimistic mindset, I love to share what I have with the people around me. Therefore, I enjoy a plethora of leisure activities which I regard it as a grant of precious time and moment.

videography
Inspired by how lifechanging and uplifting the vlogs on Youtube are, I create my own Youtube channel called "hellophuongday" to share the footage of my vigorous teenagehood studying abroad. As simple as Capcut, technology and media can intrigue and connect people around the globe. I would consider myself as a seasonal Youtuber as I edit video out of zeal not out of profession.

The prime of my Videography passion was when I was selected into the Photo and Videography Challenge at the Singapore Youth Festival Celebrations 2023. In the Challenge, experts in the field shared their experiences and tips in capturing good shots and editing techniques. It was an eye-opening experience as I got in touch with cutting-edge technology. Having the privilege to film the back-stage scenes and enjoy the youth performances, I also deeply appreciated the majestic art performances of talented young Singaporeans. My camera will forever provide a camaraderie to every of my footstep.

sports
Sports to me is the best way to build company. As my parents stress on the importance of exercising, I also find myself attracted to the allure of sports, not because of the glamour of victory but the therapeutic and transformative impact that it brings. I enjoy teamsport as the camaderarie I earn is rewarding.
When I was 12, I represented my class back in Vietnam in the Girl Basketball School Tournament and clinched the gold medal. Despite being nowhere near bouncing a ball, inspired by my friends, I quickly learned the moves and kept the morale of the team high. As the youth spirit never dies in me, I along with my housemates in the hostel clinched gold two consecutive years for Captain Girls Ball on the hostel Sports Day. The satisfaction and fulfilment sport brings rejuvenate my life as I know that I am capable and happiness is multiplier.

Archery
Archery challenges both the mind and body in a way few sports do. The precision, focus, and discipline required in archery appeal to me, as I enjoy activities that demand patience and self-control under pressure. I’m excited by the idea of constantly refining my technique and seeing measurable improvement over time. Beyond the technical skills, I hope to develop greater mental resilience and concentration, learning to stay calm and composed with every shot. Archery is also a sport where personal responsibility matters, every result reflects your own consistency and mindset, and that’s a challenge I’m eager to take on while contributing positively to the team.

embroidery
Believing that a sincere gift is handmade, I take up embroidery as a hobby. Aftertimes, I look up to my mom as how self-sufficient and reliable she is in sewing the torn clothes for my family, somewhat of an "alchemist". Embroidery cultivates my creativity as every thread is a different color, different thickness and different stitch but when combined it will create amazing patterns. In every birthday occasion, I will embroider their names on the gifts, believing that there is really a beauty in everyone's name.
